Stretch and De-stress Yoga - Suitable for beginners

From Tuesday 7th April we will be moving to Sue's new Studio

The Drishti Point, Upstairs in the wayfarers Arcade.

This used to be Dad's Guitars. There is a lift - look right opposite the stairs and the cafe.

Moving to the earlier time of 10.00 - so you can catch the bus!

 

A relaxing deep stretch class for the whole body - focusing on breathing & relaxation to calm your body & mind.

Designed specifically for health & well-being - everyone can practice Yoga regardless of age. Yoga has Health Benefits such as reducing anxiety and depression, it emphasises breathing practice & mediation. By Practicing Yoga your brain cells develop new connections, leading to improved cognitive skill such as learning & memory. Research shows that breathing techniques can ward off disease by making people less susceptible to virus by lowering blood pressure & cholesterol levels. Deep breathing alone will result in a significant reduction in menopausal hot flushes by an impressive 50% (Farhi, 2022).

Please bring with you a small exercise mat or towel for floor work - but we work on a carpet so nice and soft.

£5.00 per session. Please arrive early as we start at 9.30 am sharp.
