Wonderful gentle exercises and stretches that develop core strength and balance.
This class meets on Thursdays at 2.15pm at St John's Church, Liverpool Road, Ainsdale. (not far from Chapelhouse car sales).
You will need to bring a mat, towel and stretch band if possible.
£5 per class, payable in advance, at the first class of each month. Minimum £10 per month per member.
Developed by Joseph Pilates, the classical Pilates method initially intended to rehabilitate injured dancers and athletes has evolved as a mind and body practice suitable for people of all ages and physical condition. Executed correctly, Pilates exercises develop your core muscles, and will help to increase your balance, strength and flexibility. Our instructor, Sandie Keane, who specialises in working with older adults will help you to tailor exercises according to your fitness level and make sure you are doing the exercises properly.
