An informal Talk with Your MP

Following our last Christ Church Meeting when Patrick Hurley, our MP, talked about what was happening in Southport, several have asked for a question and answer session - so we've arranged one.
Patrick is our elected MP, lives in Southport and is very passionate about supporting our town. This is a great opportunity to find out what is really happening and not any media version, and about plans for our future.
When
Thursday 18th September 12.00 noon to 2.00 pm
(If you are late please just pop in behind the curtain and join us)
Where
West Lancashire Yacht Club, Marine Drive PR8 1RY. Plenty of free parking in the Club car park, but sadly not on a bus route.
The Club is set down from Marine Drive by the lake. A big green buoy marks the entrance and there will be flags flying at the club house.
What to expect
The lounge will be set out informally with Patrick centre stage. If you wish to ask a question simply raise your hand, state your name and ask away.
Although Patrick a is a Labour Politician - this session is not about Politics but about planning and things which effect our town. The u3a is a none Political, none religious organisation and as such Southport u3a does not support any political view in arranging this event. As our elected MP, who will be with us for the next 4 years this event is a great opportunity to explore Southport's plans and air your views with our Member of Parliament
